The program is being implemented under an agreement between the World Bank and the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Asia Bank CJSC became the first commercial bank through which entrepreneurs will be able to obtain financing for the implementation of green initiatives.

Under the program, small and medium-sized enterprises can obtain financing for:

  • the installation of solar panels and other clean energy sources;

Participation in the program is fully aligned with Asia Bank CJSC’s strategy to support sustainable development and implement modern financial solutions for the business sector.

“It is especially important for us to become the first commercial bank to partner in the implementation of this program. The development of ESG initiatives is one of the strategic priorities of Asia Bank CJSC. We are consistently integrating the principles of sustainable development into our operations.

Previously, Asia Bank CJSC successfully implemented projects involving the issuance of social bonds to support the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

Today, by signing this new agreement, we are creating valuable opportunities to finance micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises”, said Shokenov Myktybek Kubanychbekovich, Member of the Management Board of Asia Bank CJSC.

Bank of Asia CJSC consistently supports initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and build a sustainable economy.
