Bank of Asia

Welcome Day at “Bank of Asia” CJSC within the framework of Global Money Week.

As part of the “Global Money Week” international educational initiative, third-year students of the College of Economics and Service under the M. Ryskulbekov Scientific Research University Kyrgyz Economic University visited the Kiev branch of “Bank of Asia” CJSC. The visit was part of events aimed at improving young people’s financial literacy and introducing them to the real banking environment.

During the tour, students were shown how the bank operates from the inside: they became familiar with key departments, observed day-to-day customer service processes, and learned about the responsibilities of employees across various departments.

Particular attention was paid to the educational component. Students attended lectures on relevant topics: “How to Take Loans Profitably, Not End Up in Debt” and “Responsible Financial Planning — A Stable Future.” During these meetings, participants learned how to properly assess their financial capabilities, avoid excessive debt burden, and develop sustainable financial habits.

In addition, an HR specialist of the Bank spoke to students about career opportunities, candidate requirements, and the internship application process. Participants received practical advice on how to start a career in the banking sector and what steps to take during their studies.

The meeting was held in an interactive format: students actively asked questions and participated in discussions. The most attentive and engaged participants received gifts from the Bank — backpacks, shopper bags, and moneyboxes.

Such events not only enhance financial literacy but also help students better navigate their future career choices by combining theory with practice and opening up new opportunities for professional development.
