"Bank of Asia" participated in the "Career Fair" at AUCA
On September 29, the American University in Central Asia held a “Career Fair-2018”, where "Bank of Asia" participated as a partner of the event.
The Bank participates in this fair for the second time already. Last year, the bank was remembered for its original eco-stand and the "green" zone. The bank employees gave useful lectures and master classes on financial literacy, HR, IT-areas and environmental protection to students.
“Career Fair” is a platform where students and graduates can meet and talk with the largest employers in Kyrgyzstan, leave their resumes, and companies can find employees, create a platform for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Especially for the fair this year, the "Bank of Asia", within the framework of its concept #readingcountry, prepared an interesting photo stand - a colorful two-meter installation in the form of a book, which included the works of the best designers of the Design Cup-2018 championship. These are the authors' interpretations of the designers for the covers of their favorite books: “Alice in Wonderland” (cover designer: Oscar Usenaliev), “Sea Wolf” (cover designer: Akyl Sadykov), “The jungle book” (cover designer: Artem Kovshenin), "Taras Bulba”(cover designer: Dastan Temirkanov) and "About it ”(cover designer: Marina Solomko) and others. This installation reflected the social orientation of the bank, which supports reading, education and served as a kind of photo zone for everyone.
Also during the fair, bank employees conducted an intellectual online game on the knowledge of famous books. And according to the results of the competition, the winners were presented with certificates for the purchase of books in one of the capital’s bookstores.
Recall that the project #readingcountry is one of the social directions of development of the bank. Through various events, together with caring citizens of the country, we want to create values, within which the whole society will unite, and together we can come to a renewed, educated, prosperous country called Reading Kyrgyzstan. Its main goal is to increase the reading culture among adults, introduce the younger generation to books, promote literacy and reduce excitement to the topic of social networks, and also arouse genuine interest in reading educational, professional and fiction books.
