Bank of Asia supported Design Cup
On October 13, the Asanbay Center hosted the closing of the Design Cup exhibition and awarding the winners in various categories.
Design Cup is an annual international virtual design competition that takes place over 10 years. Bank of Asia is a regular partner of the tournament.
This year, as part of supporting the bank’s project, a special literary round was announced at the tournament. In this round, all the participants of the Design Cup have dedicated their work to their favorite literary work. The work of the designers impressed the bank employees so much that the most creative of them were embodied in the “Book” art object, which was also presented at the exhibition at the Asanbay Center.
This art object is a colorful two-meter installation in the form of a book. This is the author's interpretation of the designers for the covers of their favorite books: “Alice in Wonderland” (cover designer: Oskar Usenaliev), “Sea Wolf” (cover designer: Akyl Sadykov), “Jungle Book” (cover designer: Artem Kovshenin), Taras Bulba ”(cover designer: Dastan Temirkanov) and“ About it ”(cover designer: Marina Solomko) and others. This installation expresses the social orientation of the bank, which promotes reading and serves as a kind of photo zone for everyone.
Recall that the project #readingcountry is one of the social directions of the bank’s development. It is planned, one hundred through various activities, together with caring citizens of the country, values will be created, within which the whole society will unite, coming to a renewed, educated and prosperous country called Reading Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the project is to increase the reading culture among adults, introduce the younger generation to books, promote literacy and reduce excitement to the topic of social networks, as well as arouse genuine interest in reading educational, professional and artistic literature.
