The branch "Osh" held the Financial Literacy Day for the school "Aga Khan"
On April 24, the Financial Literacy Day was held in the Osh branch of Bank of Asia, which was timed to coincide with the last Global Money Week.
Pupils of the 6th grade of the local school “Aga Khan” themselves chose the bank they want to visit. The guys were given a tour where they could see how the bank works, how to open a current account, deposit or make a money transfer, how banknotes are counted at the box office and issued loans, currency exchange, etc. The students were told what money is and how to handle it correctly, as well as how important it is to set the right goals, save and save the accumulated money. How to manage your finances and spend your money.
At the end of the excursion, children were divided into teams and explained what currencies are in the country, at what rate they can be exchanged and offered to play together an exciting financial game, during which they made money in different currencies by means of improvised money: in soms, dollars, euros distribute available money, recalculate their equivalent in soms and collect the maximum amount of funds of different denominations. Won the team that was able to collect the maximum amount.
Absolutely all school students were given branded gifts from the bank: T-shirts, branded pens, printed materials and beautiful piggy banks. Little guests were fed with pizza and sweets, and the following year they were invited to the Open Day.
The class teacher thanked the bank management for the held Financial Literacy Day and wished further success to the Bank of Asia. The little guests were very pleased with the tour, and some even wanted to become bankers in the future and return to work in this bank after a while.
