Bank employees discussed with entrepreneurs the issue of choosing payment systems

On April 25, Bank of Asia employees took part in a meetup “Which payment system to choose for your business?” organized by the E-Commerce Association.
Today, there are about 250 online stores on the Kyrgyz market. However, only 18% of them accept bank cards as payment methods. More than 1000 instagram-stores use mobile wallets. More than 90% of buyers still prefer to pay in cash at the time of delivery. And this means that the market potential in this area is huge, and the question of choosing payment systems is more relevant than ever before entrepreneurs.
It is no secret that the success of any online business depends on how efficient payment methods are offered to clients by financial companies. The meeting brought together representatives of the Interbank Processing Center, some commercial banks that are implementing the Internet Acquiring service, managers of cellular companies, as well as interested businessmen.
Bank of Asia employees Vlad Ten and Ulan Kurmanaliyev told the guests about the advantages of connecting to the Internet acquiring service, what tariffs and commissions are today, what to look for when choosing a payment system. They stressed how important the speed of transaction processing, ease of integration and cyber defense.
Entrepreneurs were keenly interested in the service and asked questions, found out the nuances. During the presentation there were “hot” discussions with colleagues. This meeting allowed not only to meet like-minded people, but also to discuss a number of important issues of the e-commerce market in Kyrgyzstan.
All participants thanked the Association for the event and expressed the wish to hold such meetings more often.
