"Bank of Asia" renders assistance to the First Children's Hospice
The Bank of Asia provided financial assistance to the First Children's Hospice, supporting the idea of holding a charity golf tournament. The tournament was held on May 5 in the village of Kara-Zhygach at the Maple Leaf Golf Club, in which the hospice staff organized a fundraiser to help children with cancer.
Both amateurs and professional players could take part in the charity tournament. All interested in playing golf could play in the open air and at the same time do a good deed. The funds from the participation in the tournament on this day were received by the hospice.
At the time of the event, the bank's employees also launched a booth at which everyone was able to purchase social co-branded “Helping is easy” ("Pomogat legko") cards. This is a purely social project of "Bank of Asia". When you purchase a real card, 50 soms goes to the public fund “Helping is Easy”, as well as 30% of the commission. The bank does not earn money on these cards, but it helps the fund to support children with cancer.
"Bank of Asia" is grateful to the administration of the golf club for hosting such an important tournament and hopes that similar events will be held in the future.
